The purpose of hot-dipping
galvanization coating process is to have a protection layer against
abrasion and corrosion of iron and steel.
In case if it is failed to take the necessary measures, iron and
steel products corroded and thus they become unable to meet the
utilization purpose. With a view to keep the metal out of the
external factors that lead to corrosion, preventive methods are
applied over the metal surfaces.
Only the biological and chemical-based coatings ensure temporary and
ineffective covering. Galvanized coating (zinc plating) ensures long
standing protection in preventing corrosion. Hot-dipping
Galvanization is a coating method used for about 150 years all over
the world with a view to protect iron and steel against corrosion.

Products coated by galvanic have
different lifecycles in pursuant to the environmental conditions in
which they are used. However, the life cycle of the products coated
by galvanic is about 20 to 40 years without requiring any
maintenance.
Advantages of Hot-Dipping Galvanization Process
Having low cost
Having the characteristic of self-healing
No need to be repaired
Resistant against scratches
Diffusing into unattainable points (sharp corners, hollows, hole
surfaces etc.)
